President Kenneth Johnson, Vice-President Cappy Sabir, and Corresponding Secretary Ian Smith PhilaNOMA recently celebrated its 25th Anniversary of Championing Diversity in Philadelphia and honored Michael Johns AIA NOMA LEED with the "FOR THE LOVE OF IT AWARD".
This night of celebration was made possible through the support and contributions of the following organizations: Thomas Jefferson University, Kelly/Maiello Planners & Architects, SRW Architecture & Engineering, Architecture, Urban Planning & Policy LLC, Daltile and the National Organization of Minority Architects. Michael Johns is a licensed architect and native of Philadelphia. He established his firm Mdesigns + MWJ Consulting LLC in 2007 as a Philadelphia based Architecture, Planning and Development consulting firm specializing in assisting Public and Private sector clients in residential, retail and commercial development related activities. Mr. Johns was a founding member and a past president of the Philadelphia chapter of the National Organization of Minority Architects (NOMA).
